As a coach, facilitator, and writer, I believe the world needs more leaders—and people!—who operate from the inside out.
I bring both sides to this work: former startup operator with a business degree combined with deep training as a coach.
I do this work because it’s part of my own purpose. I consider it an honor to support others in being more courageous.
On a mission to make the world more courageous
The stakes are personal for me
I’ve always been ambitious and achievement-oriented (I’m an Enneagram 3 and an ENTJ, if that resonates). Since childhood, I was good at meeting high standards and solving problems that others brought me.
I took pride in all I could accomplish, which seemed to unlock everything I wanted: a rewarding career, a wonderful family, and a home in a beautiful part of the country. I honestly felt like I had it all.
But at some point, excellence alone wasn’t enough.
I found myself on an escalating career path I no longer wanted, maintaining a perfect image that was impossible to sustain. After a year of trying to “fix” things with my usual tools, nothing seemed to work.
Then, in a stroke of good fortune, I laid myself off and took a sabbatical. That time off, combined with good books and coaching, helped me discover a different way forward—one guided by purpose rather than performance.
Through this work, I finally found words for my purpose—something that had been there all along, woven through my experiences in life, but that I’d never fully named. It wasn’t just a nice idea. It became a strategic lens for every choie ahead.
Purpose became my new compass. It helped me clarify not just what I wanted to create in the world, but who I wanted to be while creating it. It became a fresh source of fuel and inspiration. And it gave me the conviction to start my own mission-driven business.
I’m definitely more present and joyful than I’ve been in a while, but here’s what’s surprising: I’m also more ambitious than ever. Not for achievement’s sake, but because I’m creating something that matters deeply to me.
That’s what I want for others, too. I'm dedicated to helping people operate from purpose as a strategy for both work and life.
When I’m not working
I love spending time with my family: my husband, our son, our dog, two hamsters, and parakeet.
We live in Los Angeles, and I get to take my son to and from school, which is a total joy. A few times a week, I take a spin class, dance class, swim, or go hiking. I guess I like to be in motion.
At home, I’m happy when I’m working on small projects, cooking vegetarian meals, and reading. I like to keep things simple when I can.
